On December 14, 2023, Senior Pastor Aleksei Alyoshkin of Velmema and Moksha-Erzya Lutheran congregations in Saransk, Mordovia, attended a meeting of the Commission for the Preservation of Traditional Spiritual and Moral Values. The commission is part of the Civic Chamber of the Republic of Mordovia, Russian Federation.Also, Rev. Alyoshkin attended a roundtable discussion called “The Peoples of Russia. Acting Together. Thinking as One Country,” which was hosted by the Institute of National Culture, Ogaryov State University of Mordovia.
In the evening, at the invitation of Mordovia’s Ministry of Culture, Pastor Aleksei attended the opening of an int’l youth forum called SoBytie.
