The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia confesses the Christian faith, which is based on the Bible, on the evidence of the Old and New Testament of the triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

This faith is confessed in the three Universal Symbols of faith and in the Lutheran symbolic books united in the Book of Concord (Liber Concordiae).
