Irina Piglitsina, cantor of Velmema Lutheran Church in Saransk, Mordovia, lives in Penza. She travels to the church around 140 km by car. Servants of the Saransk congregation Ivan Potyanov and Yekaterina Wilhelm visited Irina in Penza. The Piglitsins warmly welcomed their guests: they sang hymns together and read a sermon out of Luther’s House Postille. The head of the family Vladislav received a gift of the Study Bible with a Commentary to continue studying God’s Word.
