From August 19-21, 2022, Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El, held a family retreat of the ELCIR Uralic Deanery. The hospitable Holy Cross congregation gathered participants from Pastor Valeri and Natalia Antipov from the Lutheran church in Rzhev held seminars about the roles of the spouses in marriage, forgiveness, and biblical examples of family relationships. Pastors from the Uralic Deanery led Bible studies about family values.
