On January 23, 2022, the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast, held a prayer service as part of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The worshipers sang hymns of the ecumenical Taizé Community.The prayer service was attended by ca. 30 people from the Roman Catholic, Methodist, Russian Orthodox, and Lutheran Churches. The Church of Ingria was represented by Senior Pastor Viktor Vorontsov of St. Nicholas’ Lutheran Church of Gatchina.
