The celebration started with a festive liturgy and a cross procession. The church’s senior pastor Rev. Olav Panchu preached a sermon. The congregation’s first curate Deacon Vladimir Grigoryev and sacristan Aleksandr Yerofeyev assisted in the officiating.

 

During the announcements, Denis Poponov, Deputy Minister for Domestic Policy and Social Relations in Saratov Oblast, read out loud a letter of greetings from Minister Natalia Troshina and publicly handed to Rev. Panchu a letter of gratitude from the Saratov Oblast Governor acknowledging Rev. Panchu’s contribution to strengthening interreligious peace in the region.

 

The celebration continued with a concert and a tea party in the church’s dining hall.
