From May 18-21, 2021, ELCIR Uralic Dean Rev. Konstantin Subbotin, head of the ELCIR Children & Youth Department Nikolai Minenkov, and youth work coordinator Yekaterina Wilhelm traveled to the deanery’s churches. Their work together with local church leaders resulted in an SMM strategy for Holy Cross Church of Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, and mission strategies for the churches of Syktyvkar, Komi Republic, and Kirov, Kirov Oblast. From May 22-26, Nikolai Minenkov ran an analysis of youth work at Velmema Church of Saransk, Republic of Mordovia, and gave recommendations for its improvement.
