For the time being, the ELCIR congregation in Voronezh has to rent its space, however the church members see it as their duty to keep the land in good order around the building which is part of Lutheran history. The city’s administration has supported their initiative by providing tools for the cleanup. Volunteers swept up the grounds around the Lutheran church, removed litter from the lawn, and trimmed the shrubs and trees. This was not a one-time drive. The church members plan to volunteer for cleaning up regularly. The Lutheran church would like to cordially thank the Administration of the City of Voronezh for its assistance in looking after the historical Lutheran church campus!
