Ganz ohne Weiber geht die Chose nicht. No, it’s not the poet who said that, but the Lord Himself in Genesis as He created an indispensable helper for the man. Congregational life is especially unthinkable without women’s heart, attention, and thoughtful care, and the altar servers are greatly appreciative of this support!
Before the spring holiday of March 8, International Women’s Day, the pastor of St. Michael’s Congregation in St. Petersburg Rev. Dmitri Petrov extended his best wishes to all his female church members. Last year, we started a tradition of taking a group photo of all the ladies of the congregation and we’re so pleased to see so many new ones! And it’s a kaleidoscope of names: Maria, Leida, Maya, Yelena, Tatiana, Zinaida, Nadezhda, Ludmila, Irina, Nina, Bozhena, Anastasia, Natalia, Olga, Galina, Zoya, Viktoria, Katerina, Irana, Adele, Laine, Valentina. We wish each and every one of them God’s blessings and spiritual and physical strength for continuing their ministries!
