On August 8, 2025, senior pastor of the cathedral in St. Petersburg Mikhail Ivanov baptized Mila and Mark on the shore of the Gulf of Finland.

On August 10, the Confirmation of Daria, Anna, and Natalia took place at Annenkirche (St. Petersburg). Confirmation was held for Marina at St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Sacrament of Holy Baptism was performed for little Ekaterina in the Segezha congregation (Karelia), and Valentina was confirmed in the Tyrö congregation (Leningrag region).

On August 14, little Amelia was baptized in the Petrozavodsk congregation.

On August 17, the Sacrament of Holy Baptism for Elena and the Confirmation of Alexandra took place at Annenkirche. Daniil was baptized at St. Mary’s Cathedral.

On August 24, Confirmations were held at Annenkirche at two services on the same day: Ulyana (service at 9 a.m.) and Georgy, Ksenia, Nikita (service at 11 a.m.). The Sacrament of Holy Baptism was performed for Andrei in Kaliningrad. The Confirmation of Cyrill took place in the Cheboksary congregation (Chuvashia).

On August 31, the Confirmation of Diana and Anna-Maria was held at Annenkirche. In Birsk (Bashkortostan), Alexander was baptized. The Confirmation of the married couple Anton and Zarema took place in the Kazan congregation—and salvation came to their house as well! Daria and Mira were baptized in Kaliningrad, Nina was confirmed, and the Sacrament of Holy Baptism was performed for Anastasia in Chalna (Karelia).

We extend our special congratulations to the head of the Mission Department of the Church of Ingria, deacon Sergei Bondarenko and his wife Elena on the Baptism of their daughter Emilia (Koltushi, Leningrag region), and to deacon Ivan Potyanov and Ekaterina Wilgelm on the Baptism of their daughter Tatyana (the “Velmema” congregation, Saransk, Mordovia)!
