On July 10, 2025, a liturgy was held at the Vuoksela Church in the village of Romashki (Leningrad region) – for the first time in over 80 years!
This became possible, in part, thanks to the community work day that took place in June. It’s a joy to see that the effort has borne fruit and spiritual life is returning to abandoned churches!
The celebrants were pastor Evgeny Raskatov and deacon Mikhail Shestakov from Annenkirche, a well-known Lutheran church in St. Petersburg.
