On May 8-10, 2025, Christ the Savior’s Church in Izhevsk, the Udmurt Republic, hosted a meeting of the Uralic Deanery ministers.

Pastors and parishioners who are involved in different ministries in their congregations (Birsk, Izhevsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Saransk, Syktyvkar, and Udmurt village Yagul) gathered.

The speakers were bishop Ivan Laptev, head of the Missionary Department deacon Sergei Bondarenko, head of the Children & Youth Department Evgenia Gavrilenko, coordinator of the children & youth ministry in Siberian Deanery Tatiana Liukonen, and Uralic dean pastor Artur Semyonov.

The matters discussed included theological and practical questions of the Church ministry, types of the Gospel outreach, well-prepared Bible studies in a Sunday school, youth ministry, and counseling. Bishop Laptev taught a Bible study on the role of Christian justification and sanctification.
