The original congregation was established there in 1916. The existing church building was dedicated in 1935. In 1939, the church had 2838 members of the 3700 community residents. Worship services continued till 1944. Later, the building was converted into a community center. After a fire in the 1950’s, it served as a vehicle repair shop and a little later it was abandoned altogether.

 

Repairs on the building are underway. We pray for God’s blessing on our efforts to bring the place back to full-fledged church life.
