Yelena, confirmed at St. Mary’s Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg, on April 14, 2024

 

Kristina who was confirmed and her daughter Maryana who was baptized at St. Anne’s Lutheran Church (Annenkirche), St. Petersburg, on May 12, 2024. The mother and her daughter live in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug around 3000 km (~1860 miles) away from St. Petersburg. Their first introduction to the church was during a visit to an exhibition at St. Anne’s Lutheran last year. After that, they completed the Basics of Christian Faith course offered by the ELCIR.

 

Irma, confirmed at Ascension of Christ Lutheran Church in Kondopoga, Karelia, on May 12, 2024. Irma had been going to the church’s Sunday school.
