The ELCIR continues to maintain its presence in Russian mass media. The indigenous-language broadcast office of GTRK Karelia goes on with the series of TV music programs where Petrozavodsk musician Artur Soitu performs Christian songs and shares his faith in God. The shows are shot at the Lutheran Church of Kondopoga, Karelia, in the Finnish language and subtitled in Russian.GTRK Karelia is a regional channel of VGTRK, a state-owned broadcaster which operates many television and radio channels in 53 of Russia’s languages.
