Every year before Christmas Day according to the Julian calendar, Protestant churches in Kazan, Tatarstan, get together outdoors and read the Gospel out loud standing between a metro station and the city’s Moskovsky Market. They also give away copies of the Gospels and the Book of Psalms and other Christian literature in Russian and Tatar. Eight people from the Lutheran Church of Kazan took part in this ministry on January 6, 2024.
