From January 4-6, 2024, the Lutheran Church of Rzhev, Tver Oblast, held a Christmas retreat, gathering laypeople and ministers from the ELCIR congregations in Kingisepp, Nizhny Novgorod, Rzhev, Tver, and Velikiye Luki. Thanks be to God for a very warm meeting in spite of the trying cold weather. The program included hearing God’s Word, singing together, discussing debatable issues, making pelmeni, pool swimming, making bird feeders, and a visit to the ELCIR retreat center in Poyavilovo.Christmas retreat in Rzhev
