On September 16, 2023, Blagaya Vest Prayer House of evangelical Christians in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, hosted an interdenominational event—Reading the Bible Out Loud Together. Ministers from seven Christian churches took turns reading the Epistle of St. James and the three Epistles of St. John. After reading Scripture, everyone prayed the Lord’s Prayer. The goal of the event was to strengthen the cooperation of the churches in witnessing to Christ together.“. . .that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (Jn. 17:21, ESV)
