The youth attended classes in the Bible, the Book of Concord on the whole and the Catechism in particular. They learned about the different ministries of the Church. The evening program helped recap what they had learned previously or offered insights into the practical Christian life. The program also included Bible discussion groups. The young people took an excursion to the Lutheran Church in Pushkin, St. Petersburg, and were introduced to such liturgical forms as Taizé prayer and St. Thomas Mass. On August 6, the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord, they joined the Lutheran Church through the Rite of Confirmation.
