On July 29, 2023, villagers and guests attended the annual remembrance meeting at the memorial to the victims of political repressions near Kirjamo, Leningrad Oblast. The meeting gathered local residents from Bolshoye Kuzyomkino, Kirjamo, Konnovo, Tiskolovo, Gakkovo as well as participants from Kingisepp and St. Petersburg. Sharings came from Bishop Emeritus Arri Kugappi, Pastor Väinö Kuosti, Aleksandr Stüf, Isolda Karpachyova, and Yuri Litvinenko. Part of the time the sky wept with heavy rain as if to join in with the commemoration.On July 30, there was a worship service at the prayer house in Konnovo which gathered residents from several villages.
