From July 13-16, 2023, the Lutheran Church of Toksovo, Leningrad Oblast, held a children’s retreat on the topic of Creation.Each of the four groups formed according to age had its own counselor and activity schedule. During the four days, the kids learned how God created our wonderful world, how Adam and Eve sinned, and how Jesus Christ died for our sins so that now we have eternal life.
The children spent a lot of time outdoors. Also, they made crafts as keepsakes of the retreat time. Each group prepared a skit and a song, which they performed for their parents and the rest of the audience after church on Sunday.
