On July 8, 2023, Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness in Russia, St. George’s Lutheran Church of Koltushi, Leningrad Oblast, held a second interdenominational festival. Organizers: The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria, The Roman Catholic Diocese of the Mother of God, The North-West Association of the Russian Church of Evangelical Faith Christians (Pentecostals), The Association of the Churches of Evangelical Christians-Baptists.Church servants and officials from the Administration of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast spoke, musicians performed and everyone prayed for families and blessings on children at the foot of the church hill in the adjacent village of Kolbino. The church and the area around it was a venue for a parent seminar on strengthening family unions, master classes, a book exhibition, and delicious treats. The kids had a chance to ride a horse and everyone could get taken a picture of in a photographing area. The festival closed with a tour offering an insight into the history of St. George’s church.
