ELCIR Sunday school teachers met together for three days at St. Mary’s Lutheran Cathedral in St. Petersburg to share best practices and learn the Godly Play® methodology. The 18 teachers came from Karelia, Lomonosov, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Udmurtia, and Yoshkar-Ola. The three wonderful days strengthened St. Mary’s Sunday school and upgraded the qualifications of all the participating ministers. This was the first Russian training facilitated by trainers Zinaida Lourié and Irina Kim with input from experienced communicators Yelena Tatti and Yevgenia Gavrilenko.
