On April 27, 2023, the Theological Seminary of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Russia (ELCR) hosted a planned theological meeting of two church bodies: the ELCR and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia (ELCIR). The participants made a decision to hold field meetings with deans and congregation leaders regarding the interaction of their congregations in a number of cities.
