On April 21, 2023, the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design held the annual conference “St. Petersburg’s Press and Word.” Olga Starkovskaya (center in photo), Cand. Sc. (Philology), assistant professor at the School’s chair of book publishing and bookselling, made a presentation on the topic “Publishing Activities in St. Petersburg’s Lutheran Congregations.” Olga Starkovskaya is a member of St. Mary’s Lutheran Cathedral Church.In her talk, Ms. Starkovskaya presented an overview of periodicals and books published by The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in more than 30 years. It is Olga’s hope to build a complete list of all publications the ELCIR has ever put out.
As Olga noted in her talk, most of the current publishing projects in the ELCIR are coordinated by Darya Shkurlyatyeva, head of the ELCIR Information Department and graduate from the Higher School of Printing and Media Technologies.
