On April 2, 2023, Valentin was confirmed at the Lutheran Church of St. Anne in St. Petersburg upon completing the Basics of Christian Faith online course. Interestingly, Valentin will be the only Lutheran in Smolensk where he lives. Unfortunately, there is no Lutheran congregation there, but a good start has been made. Congratulations to our new brother in Christ!
