On March 30, 2023, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation in Moscow held a roundtable discussion—“The National Prayer Breakfast as a Venue for the State & Religion Relationship and a Mechanism for Spiritual Diplomacy.”
The event gathered over 100 representatives of Russian government, businesses, NGO’s, and various Christian organizations. The main topic was the concept of the Russian National Prayer Breakfast to be held on November 15, 2023, which outlines two directions of work—peacemaking and constructive activities.
Andrei Gaidamaka, chairman of the Russian National Prayer Breakfast Foundation, says the project today seeks to make the National Prayer Breakfast an event where believers discuss and chart solutions of pressing social problems. “The ability to confront these challenges depends on our returning to God’s principles, glorifying Him, and serving Him in real ways.”
The Russian National Prayer Breakfast will take place on November 15, 2023. A total of 600 guests are expected to attend, including representatives of state authorities, businessmen, NGO’s and religious organizations, scholarly and professional communities.
