On March 20, 2023, Darya Shkurlyatyeva, head of the ELCIR Information Department, attended a meeting of the Department for Relations with Religious Associations in St. Petersburg with press services of religious organizations.
The topic was interaction between religious and secular media in St. Petersburg. One of the items of discussion was the possibility of publishing the churches’ textual materials and photo/video reports in secular mass media, including Peterburgsky Dnevnik newspaper. Of particular interest are social-cause and cultural materials as well as tourism projects.Darya Shkurlyatyeva: “The meeting’s attendance included Yelena Dyakiva, editor-in-chief of Der Bote magazine, from The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Russia.
