On March 15 and 16, 2023, the National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation convened for a meeting in St. Petersburg. The leaders of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Russia and The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia discussed plans for cooperation and regular theological colloquies which would enable us to know each other better. The meeting made a decision to form a common document reflecting both church bodies’ view on family. In the near future, the Churches will conduct meetings on the inspiration of Holy Scripture and the pastoral ministry. We’re praying for a blessing on the dialog and stronger interaction between the Lutheran Churches in Russia.LWF National Committee meets in St. Petersburg
