The meeting gathered ministers from Novorossiysk, Voronezh, Kursk, Sochi, Rev. Dean Valeri Antipov of the Southern Deanery, ELCIR Bishop Ivan Laptev, and Rev. Yevgeni Raskatov, head of the ELCIR Mission Department.

 

Rev. Pavel Tkachenko, senior pastor of Novorossiysk Lutheran Church, taught a seminar on counseling. Rev. Raskatov spoke about the importance of the Basics of Christian Faith course. Rev. Antipov shared about the importance of vision in the church. Bishop Laptev gave a talk about the general strategy of the Church’s development and growth.

 

The three days went in simplicity and brotherly fellowship, discussing problems and future plans. Novorossiysk Lutheran as the host gave its guests a very warm welcome! It also took care of a cultural program for the visiting brothers and sisters in Christ.
