On January 19, 2023, St. Mary’s Lutheran Cathedral of the ELCIR in St. Petersburg hosted the Prayer for Christian Unity! Together, we prayed our Lord to help us overcome the divisions in the Christian world and gain strength to witness to Christ.The Prayer was joined by members of different churches in town including Bishop Ivan Laptev of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria (ELCIR), Senior Pastor Mikhail Ivanov of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church (ELCIR), Fr. Janusz Prusinowski, parish priest of Assumption of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church, Archbishop Vladimir Provorov of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Russia (ELCR), Deputy Bishop Andrei Zyablitsev of The Russian Church of Christians of Evangelical Faith in the North-West Federal Circuit.
