Christmas 2022/2023

 

Dear Bishop Arri,

 

Your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. (cf. Is. 60:1) The Light, which gives light to everyone, has come into the world. (cf. Jn. 1:9) The eternal Light, the Light outside time, manifested in time. The hidden Light, manifested in the flesh. The Light, which shone on the shepherds and guided the Magi on their way to Bethlehem. The Light, which was from the beginning, through Whom the world was created. The Light has come to His own. (St. Andrew of Crete)

 

The Child Jesus is God among us; His light is our peace.
