The Lutheran Church of Yukki, Leningrad Oblast, continues its tradition of youth retreats. Young people got together again from November 3-6, 2022. The topic for the 4 days was our relationship with our parents: “Hear your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching.” (Prov. 1:8)The young people remembered the parable of the prodigal son, the story of Jacob, and spent a lot of time in the Fourth Commandment. The program also included informal fellowship, playing board and activity games, arts & crafts, skits, praying, singing, going for a walk, and roasting wurst and marshmallows at a campfire.
