On October 18, 2022, St. John’s Lutheran Church of Saratov opened the 16th season of its educational project “Organ Meetings at St. John’s Chapel.” Over the years, the project has developed an audience of lovers of organ music and continues to welcome new listeners.
Anzhela Volshanik representing the Saratov Oblast Ministry of Domestic Policy and Social Relations attended the event. In her greeting, she noted the church’s role in upholding cultural traditions in Saratov.
The audience warmly welcomed organ class students from Saratov State Conservatory who performed organ pieces by classical and modern authors.
In conclusion, project director Natalia Golfarb, associate professor at Saratov Conservatory, invited appreciators of organ music to attend new programs.
