On October 15, 2022, the Lutheran Church of Koltushi, Leningrad Oblast, held the presentation of a project called “Open Kirche.” The project is a winner of a Presidential Grant Foundation contest and involves 25 historical Evangelical Lutheran parishes in Leningrad Oblast and St. Petersburg.The project’s goal is to preserve the historical heritage and memory of the past generations by drawing attention to Lutheran churches as items of local history and culture.
