On October 13, 2022, at the invitation of Roman Catholic Archbishop Paolo Pezzi, ELCIR Bishop Ivan Laptev attended the opening ceremony of the 30th academic year of Mary the Queen of the Apostles Higher Theological Seminary of The Roman Catholic Church in St. Petersburg.Msgr. Sergei Timashov, seminary rector, opened the ceremony. A highlight of the event was the remarkably in-depth and well-argued report of Fr. Mariano José Sedano Sierra about synodality.
