From September 30 to October 2, 2022, members of St. Mary’s Lutheran Church of St. Petersburg had a retreat. The topic of the 3 days was the Sacraments. It was a great time of studying Scripture, praying and heart-to-heart Christian conversation. The pastors prepared three Bible studies on Baptism, Repentance, and Holy Communion. Bishop Emeritus Arri Kugappi presented an excursus into history during a short tour and St. Mary’s band gathered everybody for an evening of prayer and worship! At the end of the day, the group got together around a campfire, warming themselves and roasting wurst and bread!
