Last year we launched a drive to raise funds for the restoration of the stained-glass altarpiece of St. George’s Lutheran Church in Koltushi, Leningrad Oblast. Members and friends of the Koltushi church responded and the restoration was started by August 2022. The wonderful artist did her best to finish the work by the 30th anniversary of the church on September 18, 2022. During the celebration, the parishioners and guests enjoyed the new painting!Many thanks to the artist Marina Spiridonova for her hard work! Many thanks also to all the people who helped take down the stained-glass painting and put it back up, assisted in various ways during the restoration, and of course to all the donors!
