On September 16, 2022, the lecture room of the new coffeehouse at St. Anne’s Lutheran Church in St. Petersburg hosted a meeting of children’s & youth ministers—“Don’t Let Yourself Dry Out!”What did they do?
– Group discussion of the minister’s characteristics and responsibilities described in the Old and New Testaments, comparing them to our life and ministry.
– “Burning Out and Coming Back,” a Bible study led by Yelena Tatti about the role of the minister and crises in the ministry.
– A delicious lunch in the Manna dining hall.
– Group discussions of faith crises and ministry crises.
– Hearing the Godly Play® story “Liturgical Year”. This story is good to tell in Sunday school or at youth meetings at the beginning of the school year.
– Using metaphor cards to sum up the meeting. Sharing impressions of the day.
– Praying for all the ministries in The Church of Ingria.
