As The Church of Ingria continues to give spiritual care to its nursing homes called mercy houses, on August 23, 2022, Rev. Arvo Survo and the band Elo-Sooni visited the mercy house in Kikerino, Leningrad Oblast, and performed the Taiga Mass (or “Korpimessu” in Finnish), composed by Pastor Survo and based on songs in the style of the Kalevala, the national epic of Finland and Karelia.On the same day, Deacon Vladislav Golubovas and Mikhail Pakharev, a diaconal servant and catechist from St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Petersburg, celebrated a worship service at the mercy house in Taytsy, Leningrad Oblast.
