Members of Christian churches in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, gathered at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church on August 13, 2022, to read Matthew 1-28 out loud together during three hours! The readers alternated their reading with singing Christian songs. Together, the attendees sang the Russian version of Amazing Grace.Many thanks to all the readers, singers, and listeners for the good example of a diligent reading of Scripture, their unity and Christian love! We trust that the interdenominational project “In the Beginning was the Word” whose goal is to introduce as many people as possible to the Bible and encourage them to read it will enhance!
