On August 3, 2022, Bishop Ivan Laptev of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria in Russia (ELCIR) met with Archbishop Vladimir Provorov of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Russia (ELCR) and Mr. Aleksandr Terentyev, a representative of the Administration of the President of Russia. The meeting took place at Sts. Peter and Paul Lutheran Cathedral in Moscow (ELCER). The main item on the agenda was the discussion of a project called “The Museum of Protestantism.” The participants also shared news and discussed the prospects of their Churches’ ministry in Russia.
