The worship service on the eve of Pentecost June 4, 2022 on Kirchhof Hill and the celebration at Tuutari Lutheran Church in Pikkolovo, Leningrad Oblast.
“LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, hear when I cry with my voice, have mercy also upon me, and answer me. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring: And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” (KJV)
PSALM
O God, when you went out before your people,
when you marched through the wilderness,
the earth quaked, the heavens poured down rain,
before God, the One of Sinai,
before God, the God of Israel.
Rain in abundance, O God, you shed abroad;
you restored your inheritance as it languished;
your flock found a dwelling in it;
in your goodness, O God, you provided for the needy. (Ps. 68: 7-10, ESV)
