A seminar for all ELCIR ministers entitled “I Believe. . .” started at the ELCIR Theological Institute in Koltushi, Leningrad Oblast, on May 17, 2022. Bishop Emeritus Arri Kugappi led an evening prayer service in the institute’s chapel. On May 18, the participants traveled to the Lutheran Congregation of Ruskeala, Karelia, to attend the seminar’s main activities. They visited several other Lutheran churches on the way. On May 20, ELCIR Bishop Ivan Laptev preached a sermon on the topic “Ask and It will Be Given to You.”
