On April 2, 2022, the Lutheran Church of Koltushi hosted a seminar for church tour guides.
Attending the lecture course were more than 50 active church servants from 20 locations in the St. Petersburg, Karelian, Uralic, Moscow, and Siberian regions.
Bishop Emeritus Arri Kugappi blessed the first educational activity of the Pilgrimage Center and reminded us of every Christian’s calling. Pastor Pavel Krylov, Cand. Sc. (History), a practicing guide, shared about the history of The Church of Ingria. Tour organizer Zoya Bryskovskaya from St. Anne’s Lutheran Church, St. Petersburg, talked about her experience in preparing for the tour guide’s job, and Bishop Ivan Laptev unfolded the important elements of creating a theme tour and some of the fine aspects of proclaiming the Gospel in the field of culture and tourism.
All of the seminar attendees received graduation certificates. We wish much success to our new tour guides!
