On March 16, 2022, the Lutheran Congregation of Kondopoga, Karelia, inaugurated a photo exhibition—”The Traditional Costume of Ingrian Finns.” The exhibition is part of a project called “Finns of Karelia in the Capital City and in the Countryside” implemented by the Karelia–Finland Friendship Society with support from grants of the Head of the Republic of Karelia.

 

In addition to the photos, the visitors could hear the interesting story of the Ingrian national costume and enjoy wonderful melodies performed by the younger members of Pikkurilli, a music ensemble led by Anna Kovalyova.
