The Lutheran Congregation of Cheboksary, Chuvashia, hosted a seminar for the pastors and lay servants of the ELCIR Uralic Deanery on February 23, 2022. The meeting’s main topic was the Church’s self-support.ELCIR Bishop Ivan Laptev and Missionary Department coworker Pastor Leif Camp who joined online set the starting point for the discussions and gave encouragement from Holy Scripture.
Part of the time during the seminar was given to analyzing some of the basic points from Luther’s On the Babylonian Captivity of the Church (1520).
