Two years ago, on February 9, 2020, the new bishop was consecrated at St. Mary’s Lutheran Cathedral of St. Petersburg. The episcopal ordination was performed by Bishop Arri Kugappi of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria, Archbishop Janis Vanags of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia, Bishop Vsevolod Lytkin of The Siberian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bishop Tiit Salumäe of the Western and Northern Regions of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Estonia, Bishop Seppo Häkkinen of the Diocese of Mikkeli of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland, and Pastor Mikhail Ivanov, Chief Secretary of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria.
