From January 7-9, 2022, the Lutheran Church of Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El, hosted an ELCIR Uralic Deanery youth retreat—”We’ve Come to Believe the Love.”The meeting rallied guests from Birsk, Bashkortostan; Cheboksary, Chuvashia; Izhevsk, Udmurtia; Kazan, Tatarstan; Gurez-Pudga, Udmurtia; Samara, Samara Oblast; Saransk, Mordovia; Syktyvkar, Komi; Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk Oblast, and a team of children & youth servants from St. Petersburg and ELCIR Theological Institute students.
