The congregation of St. Mary’s Lutheran Cathedral in St. Petersburg marked the day after Christmas according to the Gregorian and the Julian calendars, Dec. 26 and Jan. 8 respectively, by showing a Christmas musical drama in the style of a Fastnachtspiel, presenting biblical history as well as theatrical art.
